Hibernia REIT acquires its investment manager WK Nowlan REIT Management.

Goodbody advised on the acquisiton of WK Nowlan REIT Management by Hibernia REIT as its market capitalisation headed for €1 billion.

Hibernia REIT was brought to the public markets by Goodbody following the Irish banking crisis as a vehicle to acquire on a long term basis commercial real estate assets being sold by the state's distressed property holding company, NAMA, and other owners seeking to reduce exposure to the market. The acquisition involved the integration of the management company advising the REIT into the REIT itself as its market capitalisation headed for €1 billion
